Researchers from China have developed a robotic artificial intelligence system for feeding and caring for embryos. The nanny robot is already successfully feeding several baby animals. According to scientific publications, the new technology allows you to raise a child in artificial conditions. A study published in the Journal of Biomedical Engineering, expresses the bold idea that the new technology will allow parents to raise a child in the laboratory, saving women from having to get pregnant on their own. They stated that the robot is designed to "improve the system of care and feeding of embryos" from a test tube ". Scientists claim that the new technology allows you to grow embryos more efficiently than in the womb. The creation of technology will also help understand human embryonic development and provide answers to questions about congenital diseases and other important reproductive health issues.Chinese scientists began working on the study several years ago. Then the task was to create artificial conditions that would help premature babies, especially those who were born before 22 weeks of pregnancy and have little hope of survival. Five years ago, an experiment was conducted in which a group of neonatologists successfully grew a lamb fetus in an artificial womb for four weeks.Similar studies were successful in the Americans. It was then that it was predicted that the risk of critical prematurity would soon cease to be a problem, thanks to new technologies .It is worth adding that one of the reasons that forced the Chinese to take up robot nannies is the impending demographic crisis, since the birth rate in China has been at a very low level in recent decades. The country hopes that artificial intelligence will help in solving the problem of population growth.
