I would buy this again, my granddaughter likes it.
My granddaughter really enjoys this baby food, it is one of her all time favorites. I would definitely buy again if my local stores have it. It's creamy and can easily be used mixed with the baby cereals for consistency and to make my granddaughter more fuller.

Allergic Reaction to Apple & Blueberry Muesli
We travelled a lot with our children during their infancies and so we relied on bottled baby foods for convenience. We realised earlier on that our third child is allergic to dairy therefore we are careful with his diet. However, we only found out the severity of his allergy after consuming the Heinz Apple & Blueberry Muesli baby food in a jar - he broke out in wheals, his ears inflamed & harden red, his neck swollen and his eyes puffed up & turned to slits! He was rushed to a hospital at the start of our vacation and given hydrocortisone intravenously.
It was a scary experience for the whole family!
We've been buying jars of Heinz baby foods for him like the Apple, Pear, Pear & Banana, Summer Fruits Gel and Parsnip, Carrot & Sweet Potato - all fruits and vegetables and free of dairy. Thus it was easy for us to miss the FULL CREAM MILK (26%) ingredient on the Apple & Blueberry Muesli jar which was written in small print in white. Even the graphics on the bottle showed a big apple in the middle and I was tricked into complacency!! I wish Heinz could have been clearer and put forth an ALLERGEN sign when there are such ingredients in their baby products. We were lucky to have access to medical treatment at the time and avoid any major or fatal incident.

maman de 2 garçons, j'ai eu et as encore le bonheure d'utiliser les purées de bébé heinz.
Que ce soit pour les légumes, les fruits ou encore les repas, c'est un inconditionnel . mes 2 fils ont adorer!!!
Cependant depuis quelques mois heinz ne fait plus de puree de fruits seule autant qu'avant. Il est uniquement possible d'avoir pommes, bananes et si vous avez de la chance d'en trouver poires seule. donc l'intégration des alimenta devient difficile au niveau dez fruits :(

Je recommande fortement ces produits car ils sont très pratique surtout lorsqu’on a pas le temps de préparer des purées pour les bébés. Il y a une grande variété de produits pour tous les goûts.

These jars of food are absolutely a life saver! We mix them in with our heinz baby oatmeal cereal for our 9 month old daughter.
She cant get enough of them and they are perfect for an on the go snack!

my sons and grandson used to love Heinz Baby Food I would buy them all different varieties my oldest son couldn't have enough of the banana kind he would just cobble it up I would recommend these Heinz products to anyone

Every 1 out there is going to think I am nuts for this review but it has been my tried trusted and true fix!I love the fact that Heinz is a great supplier I personally don't have any babies but I do have a 4legged furperson that has very bad gastrointestinal issues and Heinz baby food was a great healthy fix for my Mc.Mc used to hurt from his hips and joints really bad and didn't want to eat I gave him baby food so he kept eating and being healthy and strong!Also with having tummy troubles baby food was our top choice for him as it doesn't have any crap in it and it was gentle on his belly.
To this day we still buy baby food for him just to mix in his kibble he loves it!Thank you Heinz!!

My son loves his Heinz jar foods. I tried lots of different types of flavors and he can't get enough of it one jar is one feeding he eats it like it is going out of style.

By the time my second child came along I was exhausted. Where I had made my daughter home made puréed food I found myself too tired to do the same for my son.
However I found the Heinz baby food in a jar the best tasting and save for the organic jars they've the best ingredients! There's enough I'm a jar for often two meals or at least a meal and a snack! It's always available where is hop and for a good price! I say buy!

Children's vegetable puree: edible or inedible?

The tasting of vegetable puree was conducted by specialists who have devoted many years to the development of baby food. Their opinion can be trusted.
But we want to warn you: it is impossible to guarantee that the child will like the same puree as the experts (rather, you should rely on your own taste). Much more important is compliance with safety requirements. And most of the samples we tested meet the standards. Most, but not all.
Let's deal with the quality
Andrey Mosov, head of the expert department of NP Roskontrol, doctor:
“Such characteristics as sweetness, bitterness or “unexpressed taste” are subjective. Parents most often pay attention to the water content of the product. The presence of water in the composition of vegetable puree is not bad for the first feeding. You just need to understand that water is a cheaper raw material than a pumpkin.”
Irina Konokhova, leading expert of NP Roskontrol, doctor:
“Indeed, in most of the tested vegetable purees, the mass fraction of chlorides (i.e. salt) is 0.2%, and in the Babushkino Lukoshko, Heinz and Semper purees it is 0.
3%. Perhaps this is due to the higher natural content of sodium chloride in the feedstock, although it cannot be ruled out that salt was added. However, this intake of salt with complementary foods is acceptable, given the physiological need for sodium in children. The permissible mass fraction of chlorides in children's vegetable puree is 0.6%, and this figure is not exceeded in the tested samples.
How about sterility?
Let's start with the main thing: all samples meet the requirements of industrial sterility. Pesticides were not found in any of the samples, and all samples meet the standards in terms of nitrate content.
In addition, the puree was checked for 5-hydroxymethyl furfural content . It was not found in any of the samples.
All preservatives and sweeteners are prohibited in baby food. We checked the puree for the presence of sorbate, benzoate, sulfur dioxide (these are preservatives) and determined the mass concentration of sweeteners.
Parents can be calm: no preservatives or sweeteners were found in the samples.
One in the jar, another on the label

in pumpkin puree should be 3.6% (in boiled pumpkin - 4.6%).
Summing up and drawing conclusions
Roskontrol experts noted that the manufacturer of puree Semper misleads the consumer about the presence of sugar in the composition. A mark "Bebivita" does not correspond to the actual product name - it is indicated in small print on the back of the label ("Complementary food product - mashed pumpkin and potatoes").
Puree “Spelyonok” has the inscription “fortified with vitamin C” illegally placed: the actual mass fraction of ascorbic acid in this sample is four times less than indicated in the label. Plus, on all samples, except for Bebivita puree, information about the nutritional value in terms of carbohydrate content is distorted.
