About the Author:

When Ruth Yaron's twin boys were born premature and very sick, she knew the most important thing she could do for them was to feed them the healthiest diet possible. Unhappy with the information that was available to her, Ruth decided to do her own exhaustive research on nutrition and health food. Although she was a whiz at programming satellites for NASA, Ruth was an inexperienced cook. She used dozens of natural cookbooks to learn her way around a kitchen, experimenting with tofu, carob and wheat germ, much to the surprise of friends and family.

Ruth continues her research and to share Super Baby Food tips with her audience through her blog, her active Facebook page and Twitter account (@Super_Baby_Food). She loves to interact AND hear feedback from new parents and will answer any of the energetic, insightful questions they have.

Ruth graduated from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. She worked at the GE Space Division and programmed satellites for NASA before writing Super Baby Food. She is the mother of three sons and lives with her husband in Scranton, PA.

The Remedia company stated that Remedia Super Soya I baby food banned in Israel is not supplied to Russia, the CIS countries and the Baltics. As the CEO of the exclusive distributor in Russia of Remedia products told RBC, the relevant documents were received by the Russian representative the day before.

Remedia's letter confirms that the Israeli Ministry of Health ban only applies to Remedia Super Soya I (also sold in Israel under the Super Formula Tzimhit brand). The CEO also stressed that all Remedia products were tested in Russian laboratories. At the same time, he noted that "of course, the ban of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision of the Russian Federation will negatively affect the consumer's opinion in general about the Remedia brand."

As previously reported, the press service of the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision November 13, 2003. distributed a letter containing an order to suspend, until further notice, the sale of baby food products manufactured by Humana (Germany) and Remedia (Israel), entering the food market of the Russian Federation under the trademarks Humana, Remedia and Baby Sitter. According to the letter, such an order was given in connection with "incoming information about cases of death among sick children who received baby food based on soy produced by Humana (Germany) as a substitute for breast milk, commissioned by Remedia under the name Remedia Super Soya I" . The Baby Sitter brand is also a Remedia brand.

The day before, a criminal case was initiated against three employees of Humana (Germany). Employees of the company are accused of "involvement in the murder by negligence" - such a wording was given by a representative of the German prosecutor's office.

We would like to remind that Humana Milchunion, a manufacturer of kosher baby food, one of whose products is associated with three deaths of babies in Israel, admitted the fact of a design flaw in the product. Tests have shown that the company's soy-based milk replacer contains at least 10 times less vitamin B1 than advertised, which is vital for the development of the child's body. The formula for this product was developed by Humana and its Israeli partner Remedia in February 2003.

Agree, any parent wants to give their baby only positive emotions, to give him all the best. But sometimes it happens that the child begins to get nervous, act up, and school-age children may have problems with their studies, while they experience rapid fatigue.

At such moments, anxious parents start dragging their child to the doctors, trying to find out the true cause of what is happening, expensive research is being carried out, but the reason turns out to be completely different: a baby or teenager simply needs to adhere to a balanced diet, while satisfying all the needs of a growing body, including its need to replenish energy reserves.
