Wyvern Milk is an item introduced in Scorched Earth and also available on Ragnarok, Valguero, Genesis: Part 1 and Lost Island. It is used to feed baby Wyverns. It is gathered by collecting it from the inventory of wild unconscious female  Wyvern or dead  Alpha Fire Wyvern of either sex.

Usage

Used to raise baby Wyverns and Imprint upon them. It should be noted that Wyvern milk is the only food a Wyvern will take before the adult stage. Baby, juvenile, and adolescent Wyverns will not eat raw or cooked meat.

It can also be consumed by players to grant the Insulating Warmth buff, which gives 787 hypothermal insulation and immunity to contracting Diseases. It also grants immunity to the damage-over-time from the Enflamed debuff given by fire breath attacks from  Wyvern and Bleed effect from  Allosaurus,  Giganotosaurus and  Carnotaurus . It does not give immunity to the Enflamed debuff given by lava, nor does it affect the damage from the breath attack itself. The buff lasts for 180 seconds from the time of usage.

Gathering

After knocking out a female Wyvern, 5 Wyvern Milk can be found in its inventory. Wyvern torpor depletes quickly, so you should loot it as soon as possible because once the Wyvern wakes up with the Milk still inside, it will be gone until the refresh period when it is knocked out again.

It's possible to knock out the same female Wyvern multiple times and receive milk if a refresh period of 1hr is allowed. however it is not possible to keep said wyvern contained within a trap as any conscious wyverns immediately "teleport" to the trench when out of render distance

Alternatively, 50 Wyvern Milk can be found in the inventory of an Alpha Wyvern of any sex, but will have the spoil time of a normal inventory since the Wyvern is dead.

Notes

  • Tamed female Wyverns do not have milk in their inventory.
    • Female  Wyvern that have been spawned in and forcetamed will have milk in their inventory. This is true even on Official servers such as when a GM or Dev spawns one in. This milk does not refresh again after that.
  • Wyvern milk gives 1200 food to a baby Wyvern.
  • Can not be stored in a Refrigerator (since 246.3).
  • It does not protect you from the  Ember Crystal Wyvern's fire breath or the  Magmasaur's burn.
  • Placing the item inside  Fenrir changes the spoil timer to 2 days and 2 hours, doubled with the presence of  Preserving Salt.

How to Get Wyvern Milk In Ark: Survival Evolved?

  • When a female Wyvern is knocked out, it will have 5 Wyvern Milk in its inventory. Wyvern torpor wears off quickly, so you should loot it as soon as possible. If the Wyvern wakes up with the Milk still inside, you won’t be able to get it back until the next time it falls asleep.
  • It is possible to knock out the same female Wyvern more than once and get milk from it if there is a 1 hour “refresh” period. However, you can’t keep that wyvern in a trap because any conscious wyverns “teleport” to the trench as soon as they leave the range of your camera.
  • You can also find 50 Wyvern Milk in the inventory of any Alpha Wyvern, regardless of sex. However, since the Wyvern is dead, the milk will go bad like any other item in the inventory.

Ark Wyvern Milk: Usage

Used to raise Wyvern babies and put your mark on them. It’s important to know that Wyverns only eat Wyvern milk until they reach adulthood. Wyvern babies, kids, and teens won’t eat raw or cooked meat.

Players can also feed it to get the buff “Insulating Warmth,” which gives them 787 hypothermia protection and makes them immune to diseases. It also protects against damage over time caused by the Enflamed debuff caused by Wyvern’s fire breath attacks and the Bleed effect caused by Allosaurus, Giganotosaurus, and Carnotaurus. It doesn’t stop the Enflamed debuff that lava gives, and it doesn’t change the damage that the breath attack does. The effect lasts for 180 seconds after you use it.

Remarks

  • Wyverns that have been tamed don’t have any milk in their inventory.
  • When you spawn in and forcetame a female Wyvern, she will have milk in her inventory.
  • This is true even on Official servers, like when a GM or Dev spawns one in. After that, this milk doesn’t get any better.
  • A baby Wyvern gets 1200 food from Wyvern milk.
  • Cannot be kept in a refrigerator.
  • It won’t keep you from getting burned by the Ember Crystal Wyvern or the Magmasaur.

ARK Survival Evolved

How to Train a Wyvern

Adult wyvern is not tameable! In order to have a tamed Wyvern, it must be grown from an egg. Below we will tell you how to do it.

Wyvern Breeding ARK Survival Evolved

Wyvern is extremely difficult to breed, but worth the effort. Eggs are extremely sensitive to temperatures outside the incubation range (80 - 90 degrees Celsius), which means that the temperature must be constantly maintained.

Easy ways to control temperature: fire from campfires, standing torches and air conditioners.

Cubs cannot eat Raw Meat, they require Wyvern Milk.

Wyvern Milk provides 1200 food for the hatchling. A growing hatchling consumes 1 Food every 10 seconds (360 Food per hour). One feeding will keep a Wyvern baby alive for approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes. For a child to fully grow, he needs 93 hours + 5 hours of incubation. Using a simple calculation, we find that it takes about 30 bottles of milk to grow one adult tamed Wyvern.

Yellow in the statistics indicates the level of attachment to the character.

A maturing Wyvern has a need for affection - at a certain time, the creature needs to be given attention (walking, feeding, stroking) - what exactly is needed at the moment will be written above it. The time between these actions is 3-4 hours. Each action increases the level of affection by 4%. If you miss this time a couple of times, nothing terrible will happen. Attachment will not decrease, but will simply remain at the level reached until the next action is taken. Upon reaching 100% affection, the creature will receive an increase in all stats by 20% (except oxygen and stamina), as well as a bonus of 30% damage and defense, if the character who paid attention is mounted on it.

Wyvern Milk

Wyvern Milk is used to feed Wyvern babies. In the inventory of a stunned female Wyvern, you can find 5 bottles of milk (we recommend not trying to stun a creature above level 47). After killing an Alpha Fire Wyvern of any gender, you will find 50 bottles of milk in your inventory.

Food - 100

Health - 100

Milk spoils quickly: in inventory - 9 minutes, for a tamed creature - 36 minutes, in a heating cabinet - 90 minutes. The time can be increased by 2 times with the help of Canning Salt (in inventory and in the oven).

Milk can be used by players to gain Hypothermia Protection, Immunity to Infectious Diseases, Wyvern Breath Bonus Damage Immunity, but does not affect the one-time breath damage and lava damage.

Read more about how to get milk below.

To get milk, you need to stun a female Wyvern, or kill an Alpha Wyvern of any gender.

Stun

Tranquilizer Arrow

The stun function only applies to milk collection!

Wild Wyverns, once unconscious, cannot be force-fed drugs. You can keep the creature unconscious for a while by using more tranquilizers or darts, but this will eventually kill it.

Tranquilizer arrows are used to stun.

In order to have time to stun the Wyvern, it must be caught in a cage. To do this, build a cage with 6 * 6 with a large entrance gate at the decreasing height of the walls to the opposite wall (the place where your flying creature will fly out. The width of the cells should be no more than 2 * 2. The wyvern can only fly through huge gates. Find a target and make it chase you.Fly into the cage through the gate and fly through. After the dangerous creature flew in, close the door of the cage (preferably on the remote control) and start jamming it with arrows.

After the stun, take the milk from inventory.

Wyvern Egg ARK

There are four variations of the Wyvern Egg: Fire Egg, Lightning Egg, Poison Egg, and Ice Egg.

The only way to get an ARK-ARK-ARK-ARKS egg pick up an egg dropped by a wild creature. Trying to grab the egg will cause the wyvern to become angry and aggressive.
Wyvern cannot be bred.

Ark Wyvern Eggs can be eaten by themselves or used to make Extraordinary Food to tame Astrocyte, Griffin, Megalania, Stone Elemental, Thylacoleo and Yutyrannus.

Wyverns have 38 levels in the wild, giving eggs a maximum level of 190 on official difficulty 5.

Eggs obtained via spawn commands will disappear as soon as they are reset and therefore cannot be hatched. This is due to the fact that the egg has almost no health; if thrown into an area where it can incubate before reaching 0 health, it may hatch. A Wyvern hatched this way will always be level 1.

One egg can hatch more than 1 Wyvern.

How do I get a Wyvern egg?

An egg can be obtained using well-pumped flying creatures that can carry you away from angry creatures.

  1. + flying creature.
Oviraptors do steal Wyvern eggs from nests when they are close enough to do so. When the oviraptor grabs the egg, just take it from the oviraptor. Get on a flying creature and fly away. This avoids the punishment for angering every Wyvern in a large radius, since technically you yourself did not steal the egg from the nest according to the game. This is probably the safest method.
Make sure you take the egg from the Oviraptor and don't take it away while it's still holding the egg.
  2. Wyvern use.
If you already have a tamed Wyvern, feel free to use it to get more eggs. It is the only flying creature other than the gryphon (on Rangarok) that can outrun a wild Wyvern.
  3. Usage .
Pteranodon is the fastest alternate flyer, its speed is comparable to the speed of wild Wyverns. However, the Pteranodon has low health. When flying away from pursuers, try to fly low, through arches, around rocks, so that obstacles prevent angry creatures from catching up with you.
  4. With the help of Tapejar
Tapejars are very agile and maneuverable. They can lean to the side to avoid attacks. High health and good carrying capacity allow you to collect several eggs in one run. They develop about the same speed as the Pteranodon.
  5. Using Argentavis.
Medium airspeed can prevent you from safely flying away from the Wyverns. So if you decide to steal Wyvern eggs on Argentavis, choose the nest with the fewest Wyverns. It is better that it be a poisonous species - its attacks are the easiest to dodge.
  6. With the help of the Griffin.
High base speed, dual passenger seat and easy maneuverability make the gryphon an ideal creature for collecting eggs (pump stamina and health).
  7. Stone Elemental Use
The Elemental's high health, attack range, natural melee damage reduction, and immunity to Wyvern breath attacks make it a dangerous opponent for Wyverns. Watch out for the poisonous breath attack - it can't hurt the golem, but it will damage the player sitting on it.

Where can I find Ice Wyvern eggs (Rangarok)?

There are 5 Ice Wyvern nests on the map, all of them in very cold and snowy areas. Therefore, fur armor is a must have. You can also greatly increase your resistance to cold by wearing an otter pet. Where there are Wyvern eggs, there are Wyverns. Your best bet for outrunning them is the high stamina Pteranodon or Griffin. Taking an egg from the nest will cause the wrath of all nearby Wyverns.

Nests are located at the following GPS coordinates:

    A - 37.7 / 65.0 - in a circle of trees
    B - 44.4 / 58.9 - open ground
    C - 47.0 / 51.7 - cliff edge
    D - 33.5 / 68.8 - hidden ledge
    E - 42.8 / 55.2 - rocky ledge

If you don't find nests in these places, it's because there are no ice wyverns there. Nests (and eggs) only spawn when an Ice Wyvern is nearby.

How to get wyvern milk in Ark Scorched Earth

    Heading: GuidesAuthor: Funtik

Wyvern milk in Ark Scorched Earth is a key resource needed to raise baby wyverns. Since little wyverns eat nothing but milk, this is a necessary item for their successful rearing. This guide explains how to use Wyvern Milk, how to get it, and how quickly it spoils if you keep it in your inventory.

To get Wyvern milk, you can use three in Ark Scorched Earth.

    • Using the
    • trap
    • Using golem
    • Kill Alpha Wyvern

Using Traps : Set a trap for the Wyvern, trap it and knock it down. After knocking her down, quickly collect the milk from inventory until she regains consciousness. Use the spyglass to confirm the floor before knocking her down. You will receive five Wyvern Milk for the Unconscious. You can bring down the same Wyvern to get more milk, but after the set reset time, not before.

With Golem : This method is not very popular when knocking down a Wyvern. Summon a golem and use it to knock her down to get milk.

Kill an alpha wyvern : Finally, you can kill an alpha wyvern of either gender to get milk.
