BÉABA Baby Food Makers: Which All-In-One Kitchen Tool Is The Best?
Overview
Giving your baby their first solid foods can be an exciting milestone. If you’re planning on preparing your baby’s foods at home, we’re here to cheer you on, mama.
Choosing the right baby food maker can be overwhelming, considering the many brands and models available. Plus, there are many factors you might need to think about.
For example, do you want a deluxe, all-in-one food maker with both a steam cooker and blender or just a food processor for making purées?
BÉABA baby food makers are among the most popular kitchen tools for preparing homemade baby food.
You can use any of these kitchen tools to prepare your baby’s first solid foods, but which BÉABA Babycook is the best baby food maker? Are these kitchen tools worth your money, and are they dishwasher safe?
Learn more about them below.
Are Baby Cookers Worth It?
Yes, baby food makers can be worth your money if you regularly prepare your baby’s foods. These kitchen tools can make food prep easier and quicker for you.
High-end, more expensive baby food processors usually have a steam cooker and a blend feature, but budget-friendly ones might only offer blending or puréeing options.
Kitchen gadgets like baby food makers can be a great addition to your countertop.
You might have peace of mind knowing that your baby is eating freshly prepared healthy foods with no additives, preservatives, or other questionable ingredients.
As many as 95% of commercial baby food products can contain harmful chemicals and heavy metals. Yet despite being called out for their toxic content, baby food recalls weren’t issued for most of these products. (1)(2)
Regular exposure to these toxic chemicals can cause IQ decrease, antisocial behavior, cognitive and reproductive problems, diabetes, and other health problems. (1)(2)
Is The BÉABA Babycook Worth It?
The answer depends on your needs, mama. But if you plan on regularly preparing your little one’s food, then the BÉABA Babycook can be worth your money.
Although veggie prices can vary, it can be cheaper to prepare homemade baby food. For example, a 3-lb bag of sweet potatoes can cost around $3-4.
In contrast, a jar of 2.5 oz Gerber baby food costs around $1 while organic baby food meals (4 oz) from Little Spoon BabyBlends start at $2.75 per meal and Yumi at $3.00 per meal.
You could save money if you prepare your baby’s food.
All the BÉABA Babycooks cost over $100 up to $250, but they can steam and blend your baby’s food in minutes, with minimal inputs from you. No wonder they’re best sellers on BEABA USA’s online store.
That kind of convenience can be a huge deciding factor in choosing these products for many moms, even if these might be more expensive than regular kitchen appliances.
Aside from making purées, these baby food processors can also steam fruits and vegetables for making finger foods.
So, they can be handy even if your child is past the purée stage in traditional weaning or doing baby-led weaning.
Are BÉABA Baby Food Makers Dishwasher Safe?
Yes. All the non-electronic parts of BÉABA baby food makers are dishwasher safe. For many time-strapped moms like us, this feature is heaven-sent.
Still, after washing, be sure to double-check for foods stuck in nooks and crevices to reduce the risks of contamination or possible food-borne illnesses.
Residual food can build up in these hidden crevices, possibly leading to mold build-up or other safety issues.
However, it’s something that can happen to any baby food processor, not just to this brand.

All the BÉABA Baby Food Makers have the following features:
- Capabilities: Each one is a 4-in-1 baby food processor that can steam cook, blend, defrost, and reheat baby food or warm stored breast milk and formula.

beaba babycook - 25 recommendations on Babyblog.ru
We started weaning at 4 months after being enthused by our friends and a free jar of carrot puree. Since mine has always been hungry and bottle-fed, it is normal to start at 4x. Dali and immediately went: colic, constipation.
Long doubted to continue or not. I read it on the forum and in the consultation they confirmed that it is better to continue but little by little and better cauliflower, zucchini and plum. So they continued, and somehow by 6 months she had already adapted and ate everything that was given. nine0003
I cook by myself with beaba babycook. Very good product, I use it twice a day. From 5 to 7 months she made purees, after 7 months in pieces. With a spoon or hands. From 6.5 she began to give bread in her hand. I give bread only spelled (spelt= Spelled - Wikipedia) or buckwheat or quinoa ( Quinoa - Wikipedia) or a mixture. With a minimum of salt, without millet and lactose. Even without teeth, she ate bread in pieces according to the raplay method. At first it seems to choke, but she back it, and chews it again. From the age of 7 months, I began to introduce biological meat (except pork), good chicken pieces, and white and then red fish, eggs, cottage cheese, yorurt. From 8 I began to introduce nut butters, coconut milk, rice and almond milk, Brussels sprouts, spinach, wittle, mushrooms, seasonings and spices. From 11 cow's milk but still I prefer nut or rice. nine0003
By the way, she eats everything and asks for more supplements. There is not a single food that she would not eat. We weigh Bella's weight and height: always in the middle of the graph. So I feed well. She is also a very active child.
I always cook without salt or sugar. I also carefully select existing products by ingredients.
Separately, about porridge: if I give it only in the morning and either several types at once, or spelled or oatmeal. I give biological porridges soluble in cold water, without additives and without millet - biobim. I make them with either cow's or almond/rice milk. I am not against cereals, but I think that even without cereals you can, for example, replace them with a glass of milk and a barley or buckwheat pancake with a banana or jam or almond paste. nine0003
As a snack I give:
- rice or cereal varieties (spelt/ quinoa) wafers without salt;
- oatmeal cookies (2 ground bananas, 5 tsp quick oat flakes, 2 tsp flaxseed. I spread it with a spoon on a baking sheet and 180 degrees for 20 minutes).
- casserole. 500g soft cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 100g spelled flour. If the shape is large then 60 min 180 degrees / 25 min 180 degrees
- raisins or dried fruits bio
- yogurt
I only drink water, Rooibos tea (Rooibos - Wikipedia), and steamed fruit water.
Since our bread is very good, I give bread for lunch with:
- butter / coconut oil
- almond paste (very healthy)
- sesame paste (not very tasty)
- apple paste (tasty and healthy)
- low salt cheese
- scrambled eggs with italian spices
- hummus
- avocado
- jam without sugar
- steamed dried fruits, for example, plums
- coconut bread
And yes, if I fry, then only in coconut oil;)
Here is our approximate menu for 11 months:
(Weight 9890 grams and height 73 cm)
08.00
180 ml of the mixture / porridge of the sized 200 ml on milk and a spoonful of almond pasta
10.00
2 fruits: kiwi, apple, banana, pear, plum, caks, orange, currants, currants. grapes, berries + 1/2 waffle + water/fresh orange juice with water/tea
12.00 sandwich + water/tea/appel. juice
15.00 snack
18.00
dinner: necessarily 3 types of vegetables and I try to combine them according to their properties: zucchini, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, pastinak, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, spinach, peas, etc.
