Can I use the pump as a single pump?

How do I power my breast pump?

1. AC Adapter: Plug the included adapter into a working wall outlet (100-240V AC current only). For use in countries outside of North America, a plug converter (not included) may be required.
2. Batteries: For those times when you are away from an outlet, six AA batteries can be used (not included). For best performance, brand name non-rechargable batteries are recommended. Batteries should last up to 8 hours, depending on how frequently you use your pump. Generic batteries can impact pump performance and length of life.
3. Evenflo Vehicle Adapter: This adapter (sold separately) allows you to pump in your car. The 12 - 24 Volt DC connection will fit most standard vehiclde power/lighter outlets. Is this pump hospital strength or hospital grade?

The Evenflo Advanced Double Electric Breast Pump is a hospital strength pump, meant for one user only. A hospital grade breast pump is a pump designed to be used by more than one user, such as a rental pump. The FDA does not recognize the term hospital grade when referring to breast pumps.

Can I use the pump hands free?

This pump can be used hands-free with the use of a pumping bra. It is also compatible with Freemie Closed System Standard Collection Cups. The tubing will need to stay attached to the motor during pumping.

Is the pump recyclable?

Our Advanced Electric Breast Pump motors and AC (electrical) Adaptors can be recycled at any location that accepts electronics for recycling. The plastic and silicone breast pump parts are recyclable, as well. You may wish to check with your local recycling center to determine if you can include the polypropylene and silicone parts in your home recycling, or if they need to be dropped at the recycling center.

Is the pump latex free?

Our flanges are made of latex-free 100% food grade silicone. All of our breast pump parts that contact skin or milk are tested for biocompatibility, specifically cytotoxicity and skin irritation.

What is the vacuum rating in MmHg?

Our vacuum range is variable from 25-250 mmHG. The variable setting allows you to customize suction to fit your personal needs.

Why is there white powder on the tubing?

You may notice a powder on your tubing. This is to ensure that the tubing does not stick together in packaging. The powder is non-toxic. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth or towel.

How do I wash and sanitize my bottles?

Before first use, boil all parts for 3 minutes to sanitize and cool to room temperature (at least 5 minutes). After each use, rinse disassembled bottle parts with cool water to remove milk residue, then wash in warm soapy water (not hot), rinse with cool water, and allow to air dry completely with no parts resting on top of each other. For best results and to avoid damage, clean with the soft-bristled Evenflo Bottle Brush. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Alternatively, the bottles are dishwasher safe (top rack only). Bottles may also be sanitized in the Evenflo Silicone Steam Sanitizing Bag.

How do I safely use my glass bottles?

Glass bottles require extra care to prevent breakage.

• Pour the baby milk into a room temperature bottle and then place it in a bowl or container of warm water to gently warm the liquid and bottle at the same time.
• Avoid using electric bottle warmers. Fast temperature changes can lead to cracks or breaking.
• Avoid a rapid change of temperature. Placing the bottle directly in boiling water stresses the glass and may cause it to break. Placing a cold bottle in hot water, or a hot bottle in cold water can cause breaking.
• Avoid using electric sterilizers. Extreme changes in temperature can stress the glass and may cause cracks and breaking.

How do I mix formula in my bottles?

Put measured water in the bottle first, then add measured powder and mix. If you find powdered formula doesn't quite mix and clogs the nipple, consider mixing the formula in a separate container before pouring it into the bottle.

Why is my nipple collapsing?

1. The first, most important reason is to help the birds. Winter is a tough time for small birds.

2. The second reason to make a bird dining room is to decorate the garden plot. A beautiful feeder will complement the landscape design, will become an accent in the garden.

3. The third reason is the benefits of birds for the site. Many birds destroy pests, and by feeding them in winter, we will get a healthy garden in spring and summer.

I made a feeder from plywood sheets and wooden blocks, which I used to fasten the parts. In order for the feeder to look beautiful, I learned to cut it with a jigsaw. And in order to serve for a long time, I covered it with a special varnish.

This simple design plywood feeder is a fun project for Pasha's pupil and his mother Lilia Ruslanovna! Plywood is a convenient material that allows you to quickly and easily build a feeder, which is why it was taken as a basis. Pasha's mom works in a furniture store, where there are always pieces of moisture-resistant plywood. Based on what was found, we designed the dimensions of the future feeder. Usually, prefabricated plywood bird feeders require the use of wooden slats when joining individual elements. They make racks under the roof, bumpers that prevent food from spilling out. Taking into account the small size of the craft, we picked up a rail 1.5 m long. Then Pasha sawed it into blanks. The instrument was prepared simultaneously with the material. For marking, you needed: a pencil, a square and a tape measure. I had to cut plywood sheets with a hand saw. The creases on the edge were rubbed with sandpaper. The sides for the fence were nailed to the base with nails. Parts for the roof were made from identical sheets of plywood, which were connected with nails. A pencil drawing was applied to the roof of the feeder and painted with acrylic paints. A special moisture-resistant film was glued on top. A rope was attached so that the feeder could be hung on a tree.
