Peachy collaborated with Mahidol University to launch a new innovative education program. To develop nutrition and nutritional guidelines for infants and young children in Thailand.
What to do about it?
We believe that the key to solving this problem amongst children and adults is better education about weaning.
Many studies have shown that eating habits are formed early on in life, from the very earliest tastes a baby experiences. So if you can start off eating in the correct way it can influence your eating habits throughout your life and minimize your risk of diet related disease.
As parents of two young children in Thailand we also realized that practical, helpful advice on feeding your baby can be really hard to find. What info is available is often translated from overseas sources or is too technical. Our Feed For The Future campaign is therefore dedicated to making it easier for parents to find objective, helpful information about weaning with the aim of helping improve feeding and eating habits for babies and young children.
About Feed For The Future
This program is about identifying the best ways to teach about weaning and implementing suitable training programs to parents of young children throughout Thailand.
Since 2012 we have been working with Mahidol University to study the best ways to teach parents to care for their children’s nutritional needs. More details of this study can be found here and in the above video.
With the successful outcome of this study, we are now further expanding the innovative training techniques and working, in 2016, to implement weaning education programs in 20 child centers throughout Thailand.
Encouraging a healthy weaning movement
In addition to the education programs conducted through Thailand’s child centers we have also launched My First Cook Book + Nutrition Guide, our first baby food cook book, which contains easy to understand, relevant nutrition advice and 80 recipes focusing on locally available ingredients.
The book is designed to make it easier than ever for parents to all the important aspects of child nutrition and baby food cooking to help their little ones develop healthy eating habits for a lifetime.
Furthermore, all the proceeds from the book will be used to fund Feed For the Future child nutrition education activities. So by buying the book you can also contribute to improve the way children in Thailand are fed.
Peach puree is rich in beta-carotene and potassium, and its mild, sweet taste makes the fruit ideal for baby food. Peach is introduced into the baby's diet at about 8-10 months, like any new product with a waiting period of 4-7 days.
Peach is great for feeding babies, as its natural sweetness will not leave you indifferent, and the softness of the fruit allows you to quickly introduce it as a finger food. Moreover, peach puree is so unique, as it can be mixed not only with other fruits, but also with meat. Moreover, peach can be preserved (the taste of peach puree does not change), frozen, both in the form of puree and in pieces.
Follow our simple step by step instructions to make delicious baby puree.

Puree Sady Pridonya with sugar from Sady Pridonya ✧ Tasty, natural, not cloying ✧ For babies from 4 months old ✧»
Sady Pridonya once again pleased us with the release of several new flavors of fruit purees.
Today I want to tell you about one of the most delicious of them - Sady Pridonya Peach puree for baby food with sugar
Puree Gardens Persikovovoye for baby food with sugar
❒ Stery Shelf life ➪ 12 months from the date of manufacture ➪ A day in the refrigerator after opening the package
❒ Purpose contains organic acids, B vitamins, minerals, β-carotene and pectin substances. Ripe peach puree has a pleasant delicate taste. The presence of dietary fiber helps prevent constipation in a small child.
✦ PACKAGING
Tetra Pak packaging.

The front side of the package - with each new taste, the bunny rolls a new fruit in front of him, and in this case it is a ripe juicy peach.

On the back of the package, according to the established tradition, all information about the product is placed on islands painted in different colors. This makes the small print well readable and there are no problems with content consumption.

To open the package, I use scissors, cutting off the strip at the dotted mark

To begin with, I tear off the “ears” from the package and lightly smooth it with my fingers in this place
Sady Pridonya Peach puree for baby food with sugar
It remains only to take a small spoon and you can start using puree.
Sady Pridonya Peach puree for baby food with sugar
Well, or pour it into a glass, in general, according to your desire.
You can also simply tear off or cut off the small corner at the top of the package and insert a cocktail straw into it. The consistency of this puree makes it quite possible to use it in this way too.
✦ COMPOSITION
Peach puree, sugar, water
The presence of sugar in this puree seemed unusual to me, as the manufacturer claims on the product packaging. Looking ahead a little, I want to note that after using the product, it did not seem to me sweeter than the puree flavors that the manufacturer produces without added sugar.
✦ STORAGE CONDITIONS
The manufacturer recommends storing puree at a temperature of 0 to +25 degrees for 12 months from the date of its manufacture. After opening the package, the product must be stored for no more than a day in the refrigerator.
The manufacturing date is located on the top of the product packaging, as with all previous representatives of this line.
Puree Gardens Persikovovoye for baby food with sugar
✦ Options/impressions
Recommendations of the manufacturer
are recommended for children over 4 months. Give to children, starting with 0.5 teaspoon, increasing by 12 months to 100 g per day.
First of all, the product is intended for the first feeding of the smallest babies from the age of 4 months. But since everyone in our family has already grown out of this age and can decide for themselves what to use for a long time, this is a very good indicator that the product is really worth it. It is always present in our home in a large number of different flavors. We buy often and for the future, since the period and storage conditions of the product allow us to do this.
I prefer spooning Tetra pak puree and usually do just that. But today, for clarity, I poured it into a glass so that you can better see the visual characteristics of the product.
● Color peach puree
● Aroma mild, natural, no chemical odors
● Consistency medium thick, homogeneous. There are a lot of air bubbles. You can use mashed potatoes either with a spoon directly from the package or by pouring it into a glass, or with the help of a cocktail tube, the consistency allows you to do this.
● The taste of is pleasant peach, with a slight sourness and last of all I feel sweetness in the taste. If the manufacturer had not indicated the presence of sugar in the product on the packaging, I would have concluded that there is no sugar in it, only the natural sweetness of the fruit itself - the peach.
