Our meals are prepared weekly and stay fresh in the fridge for 7 days or 2 months in the freezer. Please consume within 24 hours once opened. Please refrigerate upon delivery. Blends can be warmed to baby's preference. Please remove from jar and place in a microwave safe bowl or heat on the stove. Always stir, let stand 30 seconds, and taste-test before feeding. Memo for the population on the quality and safety of baby food | News and events

The quality of baby food can be judged by its taste, color, smell and appearance:
Taste and smell. For all baby food, the absence of foreign tastes and odors is established. For fruit and vegetable products, the requirements for taste and smell include naturalness, peculiarity for a certain type of fruit and vegetables, and for liquid and pasty dairy products, the taste and smell should be pure, milky or sour-milk, with a slight aftertaste of added components. The taste and smell of products based on meat and fish should be characteristic of culinary dishes of the same name. For clarified fruit and vegetable juices, transparency is normalized, while slight opalescence is allowed. Flour and cereals should not have a musty or foreign smell and bitter taste.
The color of baby food must be characteristic of the main type of raw material from which they are prepared. So, for most cereal and dairy-based products, the color should be white with various shades: yellowish-cream for dairy products, cream for buckwheat and flour. For fruit and vegetable-based baby food, greenish, yellow, orange, pink, red and white colors predominate, less often purple. However, the standard for this group of baby food products regulates only mass uniformity (for puree products) and the color characteristic of certain types of raw materials.
Appearance. Baby food products are characterized by such indicators as uniformity of consistency, absence of inclusions (particles of the skin, seeds, fibers - for canned fruits and vegetables, grains of fat and protein flakes - for liquid dairy products) or sediment (for juices and fermented milk products). For paste-like dairy products of baby food, the consistency should be uniform, tender, spreadable, slight flouriness and soft graininess are allowed; in fruit and vegetable, meat and fish-vegetable puree-like canned foods, homogeneity and grinding of the mass are established: for homogenized ones, there should be a finely ground mass, for mashed ones - puree-like. When storing juices, liquid exfoliation is allowed, and for vegetable, fruit and meat and vegetable purees - liquid and fat exfoliation.
Safety data for baby food:
Baby food products and their components must comply with hygienic standards: TR CU 021/2011 "On food safety"; TR TS 033/2013 "On the safety of milk and dairy products"; TR TS 034/2013 "On the safety of meat and meat products"; TR TS 023/2011 "Technical regulations for juice products from fruits and vegetables"; TR CU 024/2011 "Technical Regulations for Oil and Fat Products", TR EAEU 040/2016 "On the Safety of Fish and Fish Products", TR EAEU 044/2017 "On the Safety of Packaged Drinking Water, including Natural Mineral Water".
All baby food products imported into the territory of the Russian Federation must comply with the requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation. Legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and citizens engaged in the production, importation and circulation of baby food products are required to provide buyers (consumers), as well as state supervision and control authorities with complete and reliable information in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.
It is important to remember that the storage temperature of perishable baby food products should not be higher than +6°C, both in trade and at home.
Food products put into circulation must pass the assessment (confirmation) of conformity in the forms:
1) confirmation (declaration) of conformity of food products;
2) state registration of specialized food products;
3) state registration of food products of a new type;
4) veterinary and sanitary examination.
Food products for baby food, including drinking water for baby food, are subject to mandatory state registration.
In the production of food products for baby food, it is not allowed to use food (food) raw materials containing GMOs, as well as those obtained with the use of pesticides.
Food products for children of the first year of life in their consistency should correspond to the age-related physiological characteristics of the digestive system of a child of this age.
Food products for baby food must meet the following requirements:
- biscuits for baby food should not contain more than 25 percent added sugar;
- Bakery products for baby food must contain no more than 0.5 percent salt,
- food products for baby food should not contain: ethyl alcohol more than 0.2 percent; natural coffee; apricot kernels; vinegar; sweeteners, with the exception of specialized food products for dietary therapeutic and dietary preventive nutrition.
Food products for baby food for young children should not contain more than 4 percent of trans-fatty acids in human milk substitutes of the total fatty acid content.
