  • - You sure that's a good idea with the doves flying around.

  • Que golden throated announcer person.

  • - Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, one and all.

  • Welcome to the baby food challenge part 2.

  • - Weee! (laughing)

  • - Baby Orange, you get off that dove this infant.

  • (lauging)

  • - Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

  • You're telling me this was a baby food challenge,

  • and I have to go up against an actual baby?

  • - Are you upset because you think it'll be too hard,

  • or because you think it will be too easy?

  • - I don't know.

  • It could probably go either way.

  • - So why are you yelling?

  • - I'm not sure anymore.

  • - Well, it's time to get sure.

  • Cause you're up first my diminutive associate.

  • - Hmmm.

  • This flavors really hard to place.

  • - Why?

  • - Because I've never tasted anything like it.

  • - Why?

  • - Probably because I haven't traveled

  • as much as I should have.

  • - Why?

  • - Oh, man, this is a deep cut.

  • Well, I guess it's because I'm scared to

  • because I don't know any foreign languages.

  • - Why?

  • - Because I had a crush on a girl in my Spanish class

  • and didn't pick up any vocab.

  • - Aah, not even a poco? (laughing)

  • - Uugh, great. Now I'm getting laughed at by a baby.

  • - Little Apple we need an answer.

  • - I don't even know what to say.

  • It doesn't even taste like food.

  • It tastes like dirt.

  • - What! They make dirt flavored baby food?

  • - Baby Orange, you're up.

  • - Wow. He's really chomping at the bit.

  • - Wheeee!

  • - Where's he going?

  • Also, how's he going to get the flavor when he

  • doesn't know any words?

  • (fart noise) (laughing)

  • - Ding, ding, ding, ding.

  • Baby orange has guessed correctly.

  • - What are these flavors?

  • - Well, Little Apple that's exactly what

  • we are here to find out.

  • (laughing)

  • - Get it, oui?

  • - Yes, I get it.

  • - And I got you this.

  • Your round two mystery baby food.

  • - Well, I didn't sign up to eat dirt Orange.

  • - I promise, it's not a dirt.

  • - Then why does it taste like dirt?

  • - Is that's your final answer?

  • - Orange. It's dirt.

  • There's nothing else it could be.

  • - No, I'm sorry.

  • The correct answer is mud.

  • - Mud!

  • - Mud.

  • - Oh, good for you.

  • You doubled your vocabulary.

  • Orange. These flavors are disgusting.

  • What's my next one gonna be?

  • Soil? Dust?

  • Oh, I am so out of here.

#1  Share Our Story!

​This is the MOST HELPFUL action anyone can take! We need people to be talking about Damian, ASMD/Niemann-Pick Type A, and the demand for treatment. Share my posts on social media, share news articles about Damian and ASMD, share the GoFundMe updates, etc. I have found that most people are willing to donate a dollar to a good cause - so our campaign just needs to reach a lot of people!

#2  Host a Fundraiser!

Just as most people are willing to donate a dollar to a good cause, most people are willing to donate more than a dollar at a charity-benefitting lemonade stand.  Or bake sale. Or garage sale. Or... you name it! I've noticed in the ones done so far, that handing out flyers like this one to "customers" helps word spread like wildfire. If you do a fundraiser, please take pictures! Post it online and send them to me too so I can see (and I can add it to this page if you want!) The bonus to holding your own fundraiser (especially if you have kids) is you can see firsthand what I am getting to see everyday: that people are SO good, SO caring, and SO full of compassion.

#3  Do the ASMD Baby Food Challenge!

We started a fun online challenge to help us spread awareness of ASMD! All you need is a way to video record yourself and a jar or pouch of baby food - you can see my first video here as an example:

Try it yourself! You can either "stitch" our TikTok or Instagram video and include your video with our audio, or you can say whatever you want and upload to wherever you want (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)! Just please make sure to say it's the "ASMD Baby Food Challenge!" If you use the hashtag #ASMDBabyFoodChallenge in your caption, I will be able to watch it too!

If you like, here are a couple rough scripts you can use (fill in the bolded words with your choices!). I recommend talking FAST and keeping the video SHORT (under a minute!) to get the most views and potentially shares!
