10 frightening theories about the true meaning of children's cartoons and films

The killing spell is known to Muggles for a reason A still from the film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" In the Harry Potter film series and in the novels of JK Rowling, Death Eaters use a spell to kill "Avada Kedavra". It looks suspiciously like the word "abracadabra" Abracadabra, which in reality has been known to people since at least the end of the 2nd century.
Most likely, Rowling simply modified the lexeme familiar to her, combining "abracadabra" and "cadaver" (cadaver, which means "corpse"). However, fans of the magical universe have suggested I think the name of the killing curse, Avada Kedavra, is purposefully similar to the famous muggle 'magic words' "Abra Kadabra", and hints at a violent history between muggles and wizards.(x‑post r/harrypotter) that the reason for the existence of the word "abracadabra" is much more sinister.
It's possible that wizards used this spell to exterminate Muggles for centuries in the past, just for fun.
Over time, ordinary people forgot about the existence of sorcerers, but the killing curse was deposited in their memory as "abracadabra".

Still from the animated series "The Simpsons"The animated series about the yellow family has been going on for more than three decades. And some of his fans believe that most of this time the main character, Homer Simpson ... lies in a coma. And the events taking place in the series, only dream of him.
Theorists believe Homer Simpson is a vegetable in a coma, and has been for over 20 years that Homer never recovered from the coma he fell into in the April 1, 1993 episode.
Prior to this, the plots of The Simpsons were quite realistic: the head of the family is trying to stop drinking, Marge thinks he is cheating on her, Lisa is in love with her teacher... Grammys, creatures like the Loch Ness monster, supervillains and real-life celebrities appear on the screen.
And the age of the characters does not change at all during this time. The head of the family remembered Bart, Lisa and Maggie when they were 10, 8 and 1 years old, so they are always the way we used to know them. So everything you saw in the animated series is just a delusional dream of a vegetative-state Homer Simpson on life support for decades.
