Children's clothing from Turkey
Children's products from Turkey are not subject to separate conformity assessment procedures. Products manufactured in the EAEU countries or outside them are subject to the technical regulation CU 007/2011. Conformity assessment of products is carried out according to the requirements of TR with the provision of a certificate of conformity, declaration or SGR based on the results of passing.
Permits for children's clothing
Passing the conformity assessment according to the requirements of the technical regulation is a mandatory procedure.
It is carried out in several forms:
- Certification.
- State. registration and declaration. If the product provides for the execution of the SGR and the declaration, then state registration is first carried out. Only after the SGR is issued, the declaration is carried out.
- Declaration.
The type of authorization document to be issued depends on several factors:
- the age of the child;
- layer of clothing. It can be first, second or third.
The completed documentation will be valid in any country that is part of the Customs Union. Documents are drawn up for a batch or serial production. Declarations and certificates are registered in the register for a period of 1 to 5 years. The exact duration of application is set depending on the scheme according to which the permits were issued.
Without permits, an entrepreneur cannot sell products in the countries that are members of the Customs Union.
For imported products, it is worth paying attention that the batch will not be allowed into the customs territory without a certificate, declaration or SGR. In this regard, applicants must confirm the safety of clothing before their delivery is arranged.
Features of safety confirmation - organization of laboratory tests
In order to issue and register certificates for children's clothing from Turkey or other documentation, laboratory tests are mandatory. When they are carried out, samples of goods are checked according to the safety requirements specified in the technical regulations.
For imported products, a special examination procedure must be followed. Testing is preliminarily coordinated with the laboratory. After that, the laboratory draws up and sends to the Federal Customs Service an official notification on the name of the imported products, the purpose of the import of goods and the number of incoming samples.
After the samples have entered the customs territory, official documents are issued to confirm their importation.
Research is carried out with the evaluation of products according to the following indicators:
- air permeability;
- hygroscopicity;
- color fastness;
- the presence of formaldehyde in the composition of the product;
- the presence of harmful substances in the fabric;
- mechanical strength.
Test data are entered into the test report. It has a limited duration of one year. When sending samples to the laboratory, it should be borne in mind that each material that makes up the clothing must be checked separately. Accordingly, a separate test report is provided for each material.
Production control: when and why
If certification is organized for products and serial production is evaluated, the technical regulations provide for production control. It is necessary to evaluate the conditions for the release of goods and make sure that the manufacturer is able to produce products that have stable quality indicators.
To assess the production conditions, experts from the certification center go to the manufacturing plant.
Registration of permits
After the necessary steps are completed, a package of documents is formed and permits are registered. Information about them is entered into the relevant registers and the company can import products and organize their legal sale in the Customs Union.
After confirmation of safety, but before it enters the customs territory, products are affixed with a single EAC mark.
What is provided to confirm security
The following data is required for registration:
- copies of PSRN, TIN;
- information about the product and regulatory documents for it;
- data on the manufacturer of the product;
- if necessary, QMS certificate;
- an agreement on the basis of which the import of consignments into the customs territory and an invoice are organized.

How much does a certificate of conformity for clothes for children from Turkey cost?
The cost of certification of children's clothing from Turkey is set individually.
It is determined during a consultation with a future client. It depends on several factors:
- assortment list of the evaluated products;
- type of procedure to be carried out - certification, declaration, state. registration;
- the composition of the product and the number of protocols that must be issued;
- the need to organize production control;
- additional services provided: registration of specifications, label development, QMS certification, voluntary certification of goods to highlight its quality.
How to get a certificate for children's clothing from Turkey?
To do this, you need to contact the certification center and provide a package of documents and information about the applicant, manufacturer and the product itself. For children's products, it is not necessary to issue a certificate. In addition to it, they receive SGR and declarations. This is determined depending on the layer to which the product belongs, the age of the child for whom it was released.
After identification, the required permit document will be determined and the stages for its registration will be organized. This is research in the laboratory, control of production conditions.
