Danger
- Do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or any other liquid.
Warning
- Use the device indoors only.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or work surface. Store excess cord in the base of the bottle warmer.
- Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
- Connect the instrument only to a grounded socket. Always make sure the plug is correctly inserted into the socket.
- Before connecting the instrument, check that the tage indicated on the bottom of the instrument corresponds to the local volume of tage.
- If you need to use an extension cord, make sure it is a grounded extension cord rated at least 13 amps.
- Do not use the appliance if the plug, power cord or the appliance itself is damaged. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Philips or a Philips Authorized Service Center or a similarly qualified person to avoid danger.
- Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric stove or in a heated oven. - This appliance may be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the dangers involved.

With this bottle warmer, you can safely warm and defrost milk in Philips Avent feeding bottles and other popular branded feeding bottles and containerized baby food. To maintain the quality of breast milk, it is important to heat milk in a safe and controlled manner. The built-in sensor monitors the temperature to avoid overheating.

1. Select this option to warm baby food.
2. An integrated sensor detects the milk/baby food temperature and sets the optimum setting. If the milk/baby food is warm, it will heat up gradually and maintain the right temperature. If milk/baby food is frozen, it is thawed to a liquid state and then heated to the correct temperature.

When the entire progress bar is on but not flashing, the milk/food is ready to be fed. Feed your baby when the milk/food is warm. Do not reheat milk/food after it has cooled down as bacteria can start to develop in it.

Warm milk

1. Place the bottle in the bottle warmer. Pour drinking water up to the level of
   milk. If you have a large volume of milk, fill with water about 1 cm below the top of the bottle warmer.
2. Select the desired setting depending on the amount of milk and press the on/off button to turn it on.
3. The progress bar flashes gradually to indicate the progress of the milk heating.
4. When the entire progress bar is on, the milk is ready to be fed and the bottle warmer automatically switches to keep warm mode.
5. The bottle warmer switches off automatically after approximately 60 minutes, including the warm-up time. The progress bar will turn off.

Functions
• If you need a milk warmer, keep the bottle in the appliance until it reaches the desired temperature after the entire progress bar lights up.
• If you are using a milk carton, select the keep warm/defrost setting as less energy is required to warm the milk carton.
• If you are using a silicone bottle, the milk will take longer to heat up. Keep it in the bottle warmer for 3-4 minutes after the entire progress bar lights up.

Recommended setting for different containers

Read the instructions for your milk carton and make sure it can be heated in the bottle warmer.

Attention
• The milk heating time depends on the volume, start temperature and material of the milk bottle.

Feed your baby with milk
Press the on/off button to turn off the appliance and remove the milk bottle.
Caution
• If you are using a small milk bottle, such as a 2 oz milk bottle, be careful with the hot water when removing the bottle.

Always check the milk temperature before feeding your baby. Gently swirl the bottle and test by placing a few drops on the inside of your wrist.

Use another bottle warmer immediately
If you want to warm another bottle, let it cool down for a few minutes. To speed up the process, fill the bottle warmer with fresh cold water. When you turn on the bottle warmer, the progress bar flashes slowly to indicate that the bottle warmer is warming up again.

Caution
• If the progress bar is on but not flashing, the bottle warmer is still too hot to heat another bottle. Turn off the bottle warmer and let it cool down for a few minutes.

Hot baby food

1. Place the baby food container in the bottle warmer. Fill with drinking water
   up to the level of baby food. If you have a large volume of baby food, fill with water about 1 cm below the top of the bottle warmer.
2. Select the baby food warmer setting and press the on/off button to turn on
   o.
3. The progress bar flashes to indicate that the heating process is in progress.
   Attention
   • Due to differences in the consistency of baby food, the appliance cannot detect
   how long to reheat baby food.
4. Stir baby food while the jar or container is in the bottle warmer. For
   best results, check its temperature while it warms up. »Be careful not to burn your fingers when holding the container or jar while stirring.
5. When the entire progress bar is on, baby food
   is ready to feed and the bottle warmer automatically switches to keep warm mode.
6. The bottle warmer switches off automatically after approximately 60 minutes, including the warm-up time. The progress bar will turn off. 60 min.

Feed your baby baby food
Press the on/off button to turn off the appliance and remove the food container or jar.

Always check the temperature of baby food before feeding your baby. Gently stir baby food in a food container or jar and taste to make sure it is not too hot.
Use the bottle warmer immediately for another container of baby food.
Follow the same steps as in the "Warm milk" section.

Keep milk warm
With this setting, the built-in sensor detects the temperature of the milk in order to switch to the optimal setting. If you put in warm milk, it is gradually warmed up and kept at the right temperature.

1. Place the bottle in the bottle warmer. Fill drinking water up to level

With this setting, the built-in sensor detects the temperature of the milk/products and switches to the optimum setting. If you are adding frozen milk/baby food, the bottle warmer thaws the milk/baby food to a liquid state and then heats it up to the right temperature.

1. Place the bottle in the bottle warmer. Pour drinking water up to the level of
   milk. If you have a large volume of milk, fill with water about 1 cm below the top of the bottle warmer.
2. Select the keep warm/defrost setting and press the on/off button to turn
   on.
3. The progress bar flashes to indicate that the milk is being defrosted and heated.
4. When the whole process indicator is on, the milk/baby food is ready to be fed.
5. The bottle warmer switches off automatically after approximately 60 minutes, including the defrost and warm-up time. The progress bar will turn off.

With this setting you can also defrost baby food in the Philips Avent food container. Due to differences in the consistency of baby food, it is highly recommended to constantly stir and check baby food while it is defrosting for optimal results.

Cleaning and descaling

Cleaning

1. Unplug and let cool.
2. Pour water sideways, not forwards or backwards, to prevent water
   from getting on the handle or mains plug.
3. Wipe with a damp cloth. » Do not use abrasive, antibacterial cleaners, chemical solvents or sharp instruments to clean the bottle warmer.

Caution
• If you have used the bottle warmer to warm baby food, make sure there is no spilled baby food on the bottom of the bottle warmer.

descaling
It is recommended to descale the bottle warmer. every four weeks to make sure it works effectively.
For descaling, mix 60 ml of white vinegar with 2 ml of cold water. Switch on, select the milk warming setting for content less than 120 ml and let the appliance run for 4 minutes. Leave the solution in the bottle warmer until all scale has dissolved.

Caution
• You can also use citric acid based descaling agents.
• Do not use other types of descaling agents.

Empty the bottle warmer and rinse the interior thoroughly. If you still see traces of scale, repeat the descaling procedure.
