This "cake" is nearly a complete dish, since it contains eggs, flour, milk and fruit! The only thing missing is a serving of veggies - for a complete dish, serve baby a small piece of the plum cake along with veggies.

Cheesecake with berries and cottage cheese cream

The main secret here is the balance of egg white and cottage cheese. If there is too much protein, the filling will turn out tough, and if there is too little, it will start to fall apart, there will be no necessary density and volume,

Pie with tomatoes and cottage cheese

Puff pastry can be used instead of shortcrust pastry. If the cottage cheese is wet, it is better to squeeze it through a sieve or cheesecloth. Any herbs, even dry ones, are suitable for the curd filling.

    DESCRIPTION

Thanks to Irina, author of the blog "Notes on the kitchen curtains" for the recipe.

Legend has it that every year since 1983, The New York Times has published a recipe for plum pie, yielding to the pleas of American housewives. In 1995, the editors announced the last publication of the recipe, offering an ultimatum to cut it out, laminate it and hang it on the refrigerator :-) 42 g

    chicken eggs

    2 pcs.
    1 cup

    baking powder

    1 pinch
    15 pcs.

    brown sugar

    2 tbsp. l.

    ground cinnamon

Mix flour with baking powder and sift into the butter-egg mixture. Mix until a homogeneous thick mass.

Line the bottom of a springform pan (I used 22 cm in diameter) with parchment paper. Grease the mold with a little butter. Cut plums into halves. Mix brown sugar with cinnamon. Put the dough on the bottom of the form, smooth it out. From above, lightly drown the plums in the dough with the cut up. The number of plums depends on their size. It took me 13 pieces. Sprinkle the plums with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Send the form to the oven preheated to 180C for 40-50 minutes.

The cake is ready! P.S. I took the pie to work. It seems to be a simple recipe, but the cake is so delicious that I had to hand out the recipe all day :-)
