4 Reasons Peter Rabbit Organics Baby Food Rocks

When Peter Rabbit Organics was first started, the Peter Rabbit team made 3 promises.

These promises were that everything they made would always be 100% organic, 100% healthy, and 100% delicious.

I can tell you from personal experience that they have kept all of these promises! That is why I was excited to partner with the Pumpkin Tree, the brand that makes Peter Rabbit baby food to review the pouches!

My original plan was to do baby led solids when W was 6 months old. We started doing some baby led things, but I was still giving him purees and I discovered that he was a fan of the organic baby food. He would eat pretty much anything (except baby turkey!) but he definitely prefers the organic baby food, especially those with blended flavors.

This is how Peter Rabbit Organics came into our lives! It’s become a staple since then!

I have to admit that my favorites are Apple & Grape, Apple & Peach, and Banana, Mango & Orange.

When my kids were younger (about six months to eighteen months), they were willing to eat almost any variety of the Peter Rabbit pouches. Now that they’re older, they tend to stick to the fruit blends.

The first is that I can toss them in a container on our pantry shelf and they take up less room than all of those baby food jars did. It works great now that my kids are older. They can grab a snack and go.

One of my favorite aspects of the Peter Rabbits Organics pouches is that they work with the Boon Dispensing Spoon. The spoon was designed for Plum Organics and fits on the end of the pouches, but the wonderful thing is that it also fits on the Peter Rabbit Organics pouches!

This makes taking these pouches on the go even more convenient, no matter how young or old your kids are!

The Boon spoon was wonderful for us because Weston loved to grab for any bowls and spoons that got near him. The spoon helped keep things a bit cleaner because the only part he could get his hands on was the spoon itself.

Peter Rabbit baby cosmetics

Peter Rabbit™ Organic Spring Garden Baby Care was inspired by the English children's writer Beatrix Potter - an ecologist, conservationist and author of a wonderful story about Peter Rabbit, whose image adorns all products of the brand.

Baby skin care products have been developed very carefully, on the packages, in addition to the exact list of ingredients, the percentage of organic components and other components of natural origin must be indicated. All products are USDA certified.

1. Shampoo and bath.

Peter Rabbit-Organic Baby Spring Garden, Wash and Shampoo, Unscented Blend, 12 fl oz (350 ml) The shampoo is suitable for newborns, children with sensitive irritated skin, children with manifestations of seborrheic dermatitis (milky crusts in infancy and oily hair in older children).
The shampoo lathers well, the smell is a little unusual after fruit and candy, fresh, bitter, herbal, but pleasant and not harsh, the child likes it. It washes hair perfectly, does not irritate the eyes, and most importantly, it is perfectly washed off, the whole procedure with shampoo, with a certain skill, takes no more than a minute. This speed of rinsing at one time allowed my daughter to fall in love with the procedure for washing her hair.

Cons: Instead of a normal date, the manufacturer began to stamp a strange code, which is especially unpleasant for cosmetics positioning itself for newborns. The last two digits - 14 on jars bought in May, are the same on all packages, so I console myself with the hope that the expiration date is until 2014. Wrote to support, no response yet. Every time bother with letters is not happy of course. The second significant minus for me was revealed again in the new games. Without special efforts it is impossible to open the lid - it is very! closes tightly. It infuriates all the time to look for improvised means to open it. 2. Anti-tangle hair conditioner.

Peter Rabbit-Organic Baby Spring Garden, Conditioner and Detangler, Organic Chamomile, Calendula, Sunflower, 12 fl oz (350 ml) A very gentle herbal smell, like the previous remedy, is perfectly washed out, does not weigh down and does not greasy. It would seem that this is a problem for adult conditioners, but all those tested before the rabbit made my daughter's hair more manageable, but also sleek. In winter, they forgot what tangles are. I also attribute to this tool that the hair began to get less dirty, longer look fresh. In both shampoo and conditioner, it is also good that the smell does not linger on dry hair. I like it when a child smells like a child, not fruit compote or cookies)

Cons: are the same. Date and packaging problem. With all this, I still don’t see an alternative, I keep trying, but I haven’t found anything better for my criteria - organic, no smell and impeccable care for long hair.

3. Skin care lotion.

Minuses: I was very surprised when in the spring a review appeared in the community about the fact that it needs to be rubbed in, "my" September was absorbed easily and without a trace, while perfectly moisturizing. I used it for myself, and the child planned it for the summer, because in the fall and winter, children's skin wanted more moisture. And yes, the lotion bought in May was disappointing, it feels like they cheated with the formula. Really need to be rubbed in, moisturizes somehow even worse. Taking into account similar troubles with the date, a stupid cap, as well as acquaintance with the flawless Episencial baby creams, of course, I will not take it anymore.

4. Lip and body balm.

Peter Rabbit-Organic Baby Spring Garden, Body and Lip Balm, 0.5 oz (14.1 g)

Pros: 100% organic. Solid translucent stick with a pleasant citrus aroma. Pay attention to the volume, the size of the package is twice the standard. It is applied very easily, oily, partially absorbed. Helps out in windy weather, in mild frosts. It proved to be excellent on babies, used it in folds and to prevent irritation around the mouth when drooling like a river. It calms a little, but the main function is a barrier and the balm copes with it perfectly.

Cons: none. The balm is the only one honored to receive a normal shelf life. I have until 07.14

5. Intensive healing baby cream.

Peter Rabbit-Organic Baby Spring Garden, Intense Therapy Cream for Baby, Fragrance Free, 2 oz (56. 7 g).

Pros: 99% organic ingredients. Cream in a glass jar, oily, thick, intensely moisturizes, smells like manuka honey, calendula. Easy to apply, partially absorbed. Easily removes any inflammation, helps to heal abrasions faster after falls. Very well soothes the skin around the mouth after irritating food. During the night, he cured the beginning diaper rash in a child after a long trip. Very good in winter for dry, inflamed skin after frost, saved our dad from "cold" urticaria. Helps with seborrheic dermatitis of babies (milk crusts). Many friends liked it with atopic on dry scaly areas (bends of the elbows, knees). Very very good working tool.

Cons: has also lost its normal expiration date. This makes me wildly upset. I am unsuccessfully bombarding with letters everyone who is related to Peter Rabbit (.
I will buy while I do, because anything can happen and it is difficult to find an alternative to such an effective and at the same time safe product. It is unlikely for constant use, but as an emergency cream it is excellent.
